Malabar Room

This room has such elegant proportions and looks well dressed as a dining room setup.

Decorated a few years ago using Cole & Son ‘Malabar’ wallaper in bright pink, it married a traditional print with a great pop of colour. The surrounding walls are painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Worsted’ and we decided on a slightly lighter grey on the ceiling and woodwork with ‘Cornforth White’ also from Farrow & Ball.

Overlooking the graveyard and down to Princess Street in Knutsford, we have been told that this room has triggered a few peoples radar when it comes to the spiritual… It’s not something we have ever felt, but you never know…
