Hummingbird Room

This was one of our best makeovers of recent years, the transformation of the room was incredible and just reminded us what a difference paint and wallpaper can make to a space.

In here we stripped and painted the floor using Farrow & Ball Modern Eggshell in ‘Skimming Stone’ a colour we also repeated on the ceiling and woodwork. Walls in the main part of the room were painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Mouse’s Back’. The two back walls were papered with Cole & Son ‘Hummingbird’ wallpaper.

In the small side area we used a Farrow & Ball Japanese inspired wallpaper ‘Yukutori’ and walls in ‘Charleston Gray’

This north facing room gets little in terms of direct sunlight so the light floor really helped create a calming yet bright space.
