Embrace those small rooms you have with bold colour choices which gives them character over revealing their small scale by trying to whitewash them out.

Try opting for contrast woodwork in rooms where you want to make details of the joinery, or alternatively go for a uniform paint job and match in perfectly the woodwork, walls and if you dare, the ceilings… we love a dark painted ceiling here!
